Bella Singleton Scarves

Now stocked in the Fairhurst Gallery Shop

We are delighted to be stocking Bella Singleton scarves and cushions in the Fairhurst Gallery shop. Based in Norwich, Bella has developed a successful international brand, with stockists including  the TATE Modern and The British Library

Bella1We will be showcasing Bella’s ‘Vagar’ collection, alongside Joni Smith’s forthcoming exhibition ‘DISlocations’. This collection is based on a trip through Latin America, from Mexico to Cuba. Beautiful colours against a black background create a stylised and dramatic aesthetic. We anticipate the scarves complimenting Joni’s paper collages and installation work, taking inspiration from maps, boundaries and travel. Both Bella and Joni use a mixture of hand drawn and digital techniques to create their unique colour schemes and aesthetic.

About Bella:

After studying Printed Textiles the brand begun in 2015. Bella began by selling prints freelance to fashion houses but soon realised it was bringing a brand of her own to life that she wanted to do long term although Bella continues to work freelance. The brand launched at Top Drawer in London where The Tate Modern’s product developer commissioned a small printed scarf collection and bought 700 pieces outright for their new Switch House gallery store. Bella now sells online, in various online and boutique outlets and attends pop-up events including London Fashion Week Festival.  Cushions have recently been added to the range of scarf collections and will be available at the Fairhurst Gallery shop and The Country Living Fair in November.

Each scarf collection focuses on ensuring that the shapes and colours you find in her prints allow the classic silk scarf to become a contemporary accessory. Striving to ensure that whether you put your Bella Singleton scarf with a little black dress, jeans and t-shirt or holiday beach wear, you will know that you’ve accelerated your look with one of her timeless pieces. Each as patterned as the next, all collections work particularly well with block colours and basics allowing ease when styling your day to day outfit.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Fairhurst Gallery shop to try one of these beautiful, wearable artworks.
